Nightmare Fuel / Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown

• The river race is at least several days. They had no adult supervision, could have died on several occasions (hypothermia from rainstorms, nearly drowning, or freezing to death) and the bullies take actions that almost result in the kids getting killed (especially notable is tricking them down a tributary where dynamite blasting was scheduled). Exactly how are they not scarred for life?
  • Even the poster depicted them about to plummet down a waterfall!
• The first instance when Charlie Brown hitches a ride with Snoopy. Considering how much of a daredevil he plays himself up to be, Snoopy would get him and Charlie Brown to the campsite without a scratch, right? Well, not before driving through a flock of bulls and provoking one to chase them down. Talk about man's best friend...
• When Cartoon Network aired the movie as part of its "Cartoon Theater" slot in the late 1990s, this was lampshaded with an ad that cheekily pointed out how treacherous the route is, noting that it "separates the men from the boys... the short, insecure, balding boys!"
