Nightmare Fuel / Power Rangers Jungle Fury

• Dai Shi himself, he’s a demonic entity with the spirit of the Dragon who utterly despises humans and wanted to exterminate them all so the world could be ruled entirely by animals. Despite using Jarrod as a host, Dai Shi cares absolutely nothing for what he wants and is only using him as a pawn with him even telling him that he’ll be killed with the other humans once his plan succeeds. In the finale he’s revealed to be a gigantic dragon with eight heads that shows how powerful he really is and shows what would’ve happened had Jarrod not weakened him.

• Dai Shi’s possession of Jarrod’s body is this, Dai Shi first encounters him in the forest after Jarrod accidentally released Dai Shi with him creepily whispering Jarrod’s name and then latching onto him. It’s hard to tell which of them was in control of the body but judging from Jarrod’s unwillingness to hurt innocent lives it seems Dai Shi was in full control most of, if not all the time.

• Grizzaka: The third and final Overlord resurrected by Dai Shi turns out to be a sadistic and merciless monster who hates Dai Shi for losing the Beast War and would go as far as to try and kill or destroy anybody or anything who gets in his way or those who he believes betrayed him with him even attacking his two fellow Overlords and not hesitating to try and destroy Jellica whenever he had the chance.

• Once Rantipede removes his bag in the third episode, his face is revealed to be comprised of numerous centipedes which is something even the Rangers are disgusted and freaked out by. During the Megazord fight, a large centipede even takes the place of where his head should be.

• The Five Fingers of Poison are essentially this, they’re based on some of the most deadly and lethal animals in the world and aside from them being arrogant or foolish they can be just as dangerous as their real life counterparts with Stingerella successfully poisoning Casey until he was cured. Not to mention, they were considered some of Dai Shi’s elite and most powerful warriors until each of them got destroyed.

• After each Rinshi Beast gets destroyed by the Rangers’ Zords, their bodies slowly petrify and they explode and all that remains is bluish-purple flames.
