Looks like Cruella took lessons from Pennywise...

  • Dorothy's nightmare at the very beginning which depicts her being dropped right into Cruella's skinning machine, which is stained with blood. Doubles as Tear Jerker.
  • Delilah's nightmare is both this and Tear Jerker: She paces out of her and Doug's room upon suddenly noticing him gone and is met face to face with the silhouette of Cruella implied to be wearing clothing made from the former offspring's and Doug's fur.
  • Fergus being terrified by what looks like the outlines of stuffed wild animals, complete with surgical tools illuminated by UV lights. Alfred's lieutenant however turns on the light, revealing the corpses to just be stuffed toys which turns it into Nightmare Retardant.
  • The Dalmatian family's first encounter with Hunter in the comic. The latter, having temporarily regressed to his dog-like state doesn't recognize them at first, snarling at them. He doesn't attack them luckily, but the look on his face complete with glowing eyes is rather unnerving.
  • Delgado's nightmare (pictured above) which doubles as Tear Jerker, showing Delgado on the conveyor belt of the skinning machine which turns on and starts to drag Delgado inside. Something then starts to crawl out from inside the machine, revealed to be Cruella as a horrifying cross between a human and a spider with an extra pair of arms and eyes reaching straight for him.
  • Cruella herself has briefly made a few appearances in the comic thus far, and even though only the lower half of her face is visible, you can see that the cracks on her aging skin are even more grotesque than before.
  • As the Dalmatian family stand their ground, refusing to let Alfred take Hunter, we suddenly get a view on the old man's own perspective right as he starts to suffer a mental breakdown, which becomes... this. Ghostly shadowy hands start to surround Alfred and advance towards him, accompanied by the ghostly dark figure of a dog that addresses him directly. The poor guy is justifiably terrified from this to the point of passing out.
  • Whilst Alfred's paranoid fear of Cruella De Vil once he learns the truth about her from Hunter is Played for Laughs, there's something a little unsettling about how even a hard-boiled old man like Alfred can instantly quiver in fear at the mention of Cruella's name, which only cements just how terrifying Cruella herself is as a person.
