  • The story being about a yandere boyfriend willing to kill whomever comes close to his girlfriend is bound to have these kinds of moments.
  • Episode 61's ending. Elios has been stalking Emma for some unknown period throughout Season 2. Who knows how much he's seen? Enough to attempt murder on Sophie, but who knows how much else?
    • Worse still, the immediate action preceding Yohan and Hana discovering his latest murder attempt is Yohan admitting he's in love with Emma. Did Elios hear that? Based on his personality, he wouldn't take that sort of thing well at all.
    • Emma's face when she sees that Elios is there with her. She doesn't look happy, as she normally would when seeing him. She looks scared.
  • Elios' short Nightmare Face in Episode 63 when Emma realizes that he tried to kill Sophie. It's the first time she has an inkling of what she's dealing with. Even for the audience, who knows exactly what she's dealing with, it's pretty scary.
    • Oh, to make it worse, he's staring straight ahead, as if at the viewer.
  • Episodes 68 and 69’s climactic reveal. Emma was behind most, if not all the events in the present, Elios has been Dead All Along for a year, and she developed a Split Personality from it, which is just as horrified to learn the truth from Yohan and Elios (the imaginary one).
  • The flashback to Emma's childhood, as well as being absolutely heartbreaking, has shades of this. Emma's abuse is portrayed very realistically.
  • The truth about Emma and Elios's relationship is a terrifying thing. Emma spent over a decade stalking him, idealizing him as her forever smiling crown prince ready to save her on a white horse without really knowing who the real Elios is and yet felt she was entitled to have him. She didn't take him having a girlfriend well at all and even tried to severely injure her because they wouldn't break up. When she finally got a chance to be alone with Elios, she guilted him into spending time with her and confessed to him her feelings only to be rejected kindly because he still loved Farah. But then Emma made things worse by insulting and blaming Farah which upset Elios who told Emma to never speak to him again. It finally culminated in her stabbing Elios one night and eventually taking him on as a Split Personality. The entire thing is not romanticized at all and we see just how much of Emma's psyche unravels when her ideals are shattered.
