A Boy Named Queen is a Children's Literature book by Sara Cassidy.
Evelyn is just starting fifth grade, and as it so happens, a new boy comes to class. What's the new boy's name?
Queen.
Yes, you read that right. Immediately, he finds himself the subject of mockery amongst the other kids for his name. Evelyn, however, doesn't even raise her voice at it. Rather, she seems fascinated with him. During recess, she sees him trying to play basketball by himself. She goes over and helps him with his shot, and the two then hit it off.
One day, Queen even invites Evelyn to his birthday, meaning she will meet his family.
The book was released in 2016.
