  • The entire scene around Miles' Stock Punishment. Despite the injustice, Miles shows more concern for Edward than himself.
    • Edward tries to stop the Produce Pelting and nearly gets whipped for it, before Miles volunteers to take his place.
    • Edward gratefully rewards Miles with the title of Earl for saving him yet again. Miles, despite thinking him a delusional child, is still touched by the gesture.
    • Even the crowd is moved by Miles' sacrifice and stops their abuses for the remainder of his sentence.
  • Tom giving Edward back his crown, who in turn ensures Tom and his family will be cared for.
  • "Yes, King Edward VI lived only a few years, poor boy, but he lived them worthily."
