Heartwarming / The Flash (2023)

  • Upon learning that Affleck-Bruce has been alone all his life, Barry offers to hang out with him. Bruce declines, but is visibly touched by the gesture.
  • Each and every scene between Barry and his mother Nora, with perfect chemistry between Ezra Miller and Maribel VerdĂș. One can see why Barry misses her so much and wants to undo her death.
    • Special mention when they are in the kitchen together making food, dancing, and just enjoying each others company. Just a mother and her son sharing a beautiful moment together made complete by this exchange.
      Nora: I love you, monkey.
      Barry: I love you more.
      Nora: I loved you first!
    • In their final scene together, when Prime Barry goes back in time to make sure Nora doesn't bring a can of tomatoes home. Even if Barry is a complete stranger to her, Nora offers him a paper handkerchief and gives him a heartfelt hug as soon as she feels he's troubled about "his mother" and sees him cry about it (since he has to let her die to save The Multiverse).
Nora: I know I'm just a random lady in a store, but... do you want a hug? (proceeds to hug him)
  • For Kara, who's spent decades locked up, Humans Are Bastards. And yet, by saving her, the Barries prove her that it's not the case for every human.
Kara: I have to ask you something: when you found me in that hole that they put me in and I wasn't Kal-El... Why did you help me?
    Barry: Because you needed help.
  • As he dies (for the second time), Keaton-Batman thanks Barry for motivating him to be a hero once more.
Barry: We can't bring you back, can we?
Bruce: You already did... You already did.
  • Even before that, the fact that Keaton-Batman retired not out of cynicism or a tragedy, but because Gotham had become the safest city in the country and he wasn't needed anymore is heartwarming. His crusade served its purpose and he was able to live a peaceful, albeit boring life seeing his vision accomplished.
