  • Luigi's heartfelt confession of love (or attempted, anyway) to Peach is a sweet moment in an album which otherwise runs solely on dark and twisted humor.
    • Also, in the video, one could interpret Bowser, of all people, as having one. In Mario's Imagine Spot of having to rescue Peach from the demon's clutches, Mario expresses apathy at being forced into the situation for the umpteenth time. Bowser, after initially cackling at his triumph, notices Mario's boredom. He then turns to the Princess with a look of concern, as though worried over the Out-of-Character Moment.
  • Even after Simon Belmont kills all of his guests, Dracula still invites him to the party.
  • Ryu being proud of Ken for being able to rhyme on cue.
  • Megaman in Mega Marital Problems, despite being obviously not interested in fighting any more robot masters, is fully willing to take them on if it means saving his relationship with his wife.
  • A player in Minecraft Is For Everyone trying to redeem a hard-swearing, yelling, easily pissed off Creeper into a friendly being. He persists despite the Creeper continuing to blow things up, and the Creeper actually starts trying to cut back on the swearing in an attempt to try. Defied in the end when the Creeper blows him up.
  • Glass Joe's Title Fight. Joe really had enough confidence in himself to beat Mr. Sandman. Of course, Surprisingly Realistic Outcome occurs, but you can't help but smile at his confidence.
  • Luigi yet again in SMASH!. First, when he tells everyone that their friendship makes him happy to be alive. Later, after coming down from his Roaring Rampage of Revenge, he acknowledges that Smash is all in good fun, and that after the fact, they're still all friends. And then Mario decks him.
  • The host of the "Simple Plots" show is calm, courteous, and encouraging to all of his (invited) guests, and tries very hard to calmly explain to Cloud, Solid Snake and Sora why they don't belong on the show despite their attitudes. He only becomes cross with them when they treat the other guests rudely and take too long in their plot explanations (thereby taking time away from the guests who haven't gone yet).
  • Tryforce has "Vegeta's Seranade", featuring the titular character trying (key word, trying) to write a love song for Bulma with Trunks' help. He fails because he's constantly working his hatred for Goku into it, but it's the thought that counts.
