  • The relationship between Kumoko and "Miss Appraisal" is funny, but it is also heartwarming. Kumoko starts off thinking of her Appraisal skill as being useless or making fun of her. Then, as she levels it up, it becomes more useful, and she becomes more fond of it. She praises "Miss Appraisal" for her hard work.
  • Reincarnation has done wonders for Feirune's attitude. In her previous life, she seemed to be an Alpha Bitch. Now, she has seen the error of her ways. She accepts her non-human form as punishment for her bullying and resolves to be a better person. The way she interacts with her "owner", Shun, is totally a "friends" thing.
  • During the Lava Arc, Kumoko braves the Middle Stratum of the Great Elroe Labyrinth. The seahorse she kills tastes gross; tough, terrible flavor, and overall unappetizing. It is just as she has come to expect from her food in her new life as a spider. Then she eats the giant catfish. She cries Tears of Joy. It tastes good; it tastes really good. She basically has a foodgasm as she chows down on the first piece of food in her second life that isn't gross.
  • Most of Kumoko's actions in the Kingdom of Sariella.
    • After seeing a carriage being attacked by bandits, she kills the bandits, heals the injured and then leaves, all without asking anything in return. It is no wonder that one of the people saved started believing Kumoko to be a divine beast.
    • When people start asking her to heal their sick and injured, she shows little hesitation in doing so. While she receives food as thanks, she never asked for it.
    • After killing a noble from Ohts that sought to capture her, this leads to a war between the kingdoms of Ohts and Sariella. Realizing that it was her fault, plus that Ohts' army will certainly win and go after her, Kumoko comes to the aid of the army of Sariella.
  • Ariel's Roaring Rampage of Revenge towards Kumoko can be seen as a mother hellbent on destroying the one that killed her daughter. She even killed some dragons, a race that she had a non-agression pact, that tried to dissuade her from going after Kumoko.
  • Kumoko comes off as an extremely antisocial and morally grey, bordering on outright villain protagonist at times, but when one considers that Kumoko is made up of three components: the original spider, a species not exactly known for empathy and companionship, the false memories, which had her as a friendless girl who neither had nor wanted friends and didn't even care about her own parents, and a fragment of D's soul, someone who very much lives up to her title as an evil god combined with the fact her new life started as nothing but strife where everything was either an enemy trying to kill her or food (often both) and it took her two years before she had any non-hostile interactions with another living thing, the fact she actually cares about her allies, even if she's bad at showing it and even helps total strangers rather then being an entirely selfish complete monster shows a great deal of growth and kindness on her part.
  • The protectiveness that Shiraori feels towards Oka is rather heartwarming due to her not forgetting how protected her in their previous lives, and prevented her students from crushing her. The fact she is willing to go above and beyond for Oka shows how much Oka's act of kindness meant to her. She also addresses Oka respectfully when they meet.
  • As dark as it is that Shiraori killed Julius, it was kind of heartwarming that due to her not feeling any personal animosity towards him, she opted to kill him as quickly and painlessly as possible.
