  • Despite Conner blowing up afterwards, watching him, Owen, and Jimmy Fallon perform "Donkey Roll" came across this way due The Woobie Owen's genuinely happy expression the whole time he's doing it. Bonus points go to Fallon's fanboying throughout.
  • The hug between all three of The Style Boyz after Conner apologizes to Lawrence.
  • The Reveal that Owen and Lawrence were the ones who got Maximus for Conner when they were kids instead of his mom.
  • The "Sick Glenda" scene where the band reunites had several heartwarming moments in quick succession:
Lawrence: I look at Conner and I see that seven-year-old scrub that I grew up with, and it's like, how could you be mad at a seven-year-old?
    • Owen mentions that he found a book in Conner's luggage called How to Be a Better Friend, commenting that it was heavily dog-eared and underlined.
Owen: It feels like he's really trying. And plus, it shows he knows how to read, which is really heartening.
  • When Conner attends Owen's show, he realizes that the music is too loud for anyone to hear what he's screaming, which leads to him gleefully getting a few things off his chest, including admitting that "Equal Rights" was offensive.
  • The cutaway to the band backstage at the start of "Incredible Thoughts" - Conner and Owen credit the lyrics to Lawrence, and both Lawrence and Owen outright state that the song doesn’t happen without Conner pulling everything together. On top of that, neither Conner or Lawrence actually take credit for anything - Lawrence actually downplays his contribution, whilst Conner is happily talking up what everyone else contributed - and the long overshadowed Owen finally gets to claim his share of the spotlight by noting the instrumental work is taken from one of his solo pieces.
