Making it through a night of ghosts can bring people closer.
- Opposite of the harm the player can do, they can also go out of their way to be nice to everyone.
- Playing matchmaker for Ren and Nona, who can end up relatively happy as a couple and even trying out the long-distance relatioship thing in one of the ending notes.
- Working on reconciling with Clarissa and not writing her off as a jerk.
- Listening to Jonas about his issues, even letting him apparently experience his own past-time loop thing, where he then goes on to talk with his deceased mom one last time.
- When in the past-time loops with Michael, influencing him to stick with Clarissa as a couple and to not move out, which actually ends up preventing his death and reviving him in the final cutscene.
- Alex and Jonas overall bonding as new stepsiblings, where they start off a tad awkward and stilted towards each other. They're both new to the situation as Jonas was an only child and Alex was still sore from her brother's death. They spend most of the night together to figure out what went on, and can even get so close as to stop adding the 'step' part to their relationship.
- Ren's goofy antics lessening a bit when things get serious, even admitting to Alex that he's 'not okay' and really wants her to come find him.
- Alex finding all of Maggie Adler's letters, which actually adds the possibility of mentioning a deceased electrician's name to the ghosts and giving them a sense of their individuality back.
- Anytime Alex has the past-time loops that allow her to see Michael again. She can open up to him about things, and even apologizes to Jonas when pulled out of one of them by noting that she just gets sucked into the loop because she's so happy to see her brother again.
