Heartwarming / Mike Tyson Mysteries

Go To

Season One

Mite Tyson

  • After Pigeon returns back to the house, Mike tells him that he wasn't the cause for his bug bites and even if he was he wouldn't throw him out. This causes Pigeon to give Mike a genuine smile.

Kidnapped!

  • Mike's speech to the graduating students.
  • Yung having complete faith in Mike that he'll save her. After Gregor hears Mike's speech on TV, he's so moved by it that he let Yung go to make his life better.

Ty-Stunned

  • While Mike completely misinterpreted it, Mike saying he'll always love Yung, even if she is a lesbian.

Season Two

What's that Gnoise?
  • Pigeon's Pet the Dog moment when he doesn't make fun of Meg's kid who's overweight and actually gives encouragement at her gymnastic class. He say's it's because he was "a fat kid".

Season Three

  • The Indian Boy cons the Phantasm into thinking the funds are transported to ends of the ends of the universe.

Carol

  • After countless episodes ending in bloody death or tragedy, Mike finally solves a mystery in a positive light. Carol, the rotund office worker, ends up married to Mike Tyson after he finds out her secret admirer is a couple of jackasses playing a prank on her (like she had feared) and knocks them flat. Then, when he's taking out the fake gifts, he runs into Carol and Carol assumes HE'S her secret admirer and instead of killing her, injuring her, or even breaking her heart, Mike runs with it and confesses his love to Carol and MARRIES her (albeit off-screen). Then, at the end of the episode, when Mike says he's glad it was all a dream, he sees Carol's dog urinating on the ground next to the bed and realizes he actually DID marry Carol. His response to end the episode, seeing Carol sleeping and actually HAPPY...
Mike: Well, maybe I can grow to love her.
Mike Tysonland
  • Sadly, due to Status Quo Is God, the marriage with Carol doesn't stick, but Tyson parts with Carol amicably. On top of that, thanks to the terms of the divorce, Carol receives 23 million dollars from the proceedings. And when Tyson mistakenly thinks that he will have to share custody of Yung Hee, he seems rather agreeable to it, showing that he really does have no hard feelings towards Carol at all.
The Gift
  • After Marquess finds a photograph of his son and Oscar Wilde, he begins to regret how he never made peace with them (which in real-life, he ruined their relationship and led to what was eventually Oscar’s death). He decides to go back in time, and when he does, he gives his son an earnest and heartfelt apology. In return, his son accepts it and they hug with tears in their eyes. He even apologized to Oscar for what he did to him. And thankfully, the moment isn’t ruined either, so it ends with Marquess finally making peace with his past mistakes.

Season Four

Make a Wish And Blow
  • The team helps a little girl named Margaret make a wish, which is that her dad would come home and they could be a family again. Unfortunately, it turns out he was in prison, and the minute he returns, he and his wife begin cooking meth, while the two of them die from the explosion. While the episode seems like it’s going to end on another dark note, she makes another wish, which is to have another family. Suddenly, a buck and a deer show up, and after the Team ran over their child earlier, ask her if she would like to be apart of their family. It then ends off with her riding off with them into the magical forest.
Your Old Man
  • Pigeon discovers that Yung is his daughter. He has a massive Jerkass Realization and decides to treat her better. He opts in not telling anyone the truth, as Yung would likely not take it well. The episode ends with Pigeon offering to play catch with Yung outside, and she accepts. A rare episode that ends on a genuinely sweet note with no subversion.

Let's Make A Deal

  • When Yung Hee offers to sell her soul to bring Mike back from the dead, Pigeon immediately offers his soul instead, stating that he's led a terrible life, done horrible things, and if anyone deserves to burn in Hell, it's him. The events of "Your Old Man" clearly paint this as a Papa Wolf moment, as we (unlike the rest of the cast except Pigeon), now know that Yung is Pigeon's biological daughter, and he stepped in to (seemingly) sacrifice himself to save his daughter. Subverted in that Pigeon, by handing over Deezy's ID, actually sacrificed Deezy's soul and not his own. Still, it was a sweet gesture, as were those of Yung and Marquess (who also offered to trade his soul in order to resurrect Mike).
