Fridge Brilliance

  • Why did God personally intervene with the demon at the end of "Save Me!"? He probably owed Mike a favor for punching out the Devil in "Tent Revival".
  • Many viewers question why Mike Tyson, who goes into fierce and potentially lethal Papa Wolf mode when anyone threatens or even offends his daughter Yung Hee, puts up with, if he even acknowledges, Pigeon's constant perving on her. Pigeon's made statements about Yung that have gotten other characters on the show nearly killed; Mike was almost about to beat up Marquess when he made an inappropriate joke about molesting her. So why does he tolerate Pigeon's skeevy comments, innuendos and roofies and hidden camera(!) antics directed toward Yung? It's most likely because Mike, who's clearly not right in the head and has a very light grip on reality, doesn't understand what Pigeon is saying or doing. Mike, who keeps many other pigeons who don't talk, probably thinks Pigeon (Richard) is for the most part like the others, spouting nonsense and doing harmless, benign pigeon things, and Yung and Marquess are overreacting to Pigeon's natural, "harmless" behavior. Punctuated by Mike's totally nonchalant attitude toward the option of euthanizing Pigeon due to injury in "Broken Wings".
Fridge Horror
  • "Your Old Man" reveals that Pigeon is Yung Hee's biological father. All his inappropriate jokes about her...and the running joke of her attraction to his former human form...are suddenly a lot more repulsive in hindsight.
    • The same episode also hints that Pigeon will age like a regular bird.
  • In "Thy Neighbor's Life" Pigeon upskirts Yung and compliments her "nice bush," which suggests certain conclusions about her regular attire.
