Heartwarming / Mickie James

• Her absolute refusal to leave a defenseless Melina to the proverbial wolves Victoria and Natalya during the draft lottery, going so far as to act as a human shield and take the second she was out of their reach. This with the current viewer's knowledge that Melina had done no good for Mickie since their first encounter and done several frightening things to her during their matches. Before, Mickie was a face by bare minimum requirements. Teaming with an established favorite...feuding with an established ass...being a competent wrestler not actively being an ass...being cheered in spite of over the top creepiness and criminality. It was shocking yet heartwarming all the same to see Mickie James do something so selfless so abruptly. It showed how much better she was than "best buddies" Natalya and Victoria, who for their part actually made you fearful for Melina's well being.
• When in TNA, Mickie James won the Knockouts Championship from Madison Rayne. Madison had forced Tara (WWE's Victoria) to do whatever she wanted via a contract that let her back into the company. When Madison demanded that Mickie give her a rematch, Mickie agreed, but only under the condition that if Madison lost, Tara would be free from her contract and not have to be Madison's servant. Tara clearly became more and more happy as Mickie made the proposal, and when Madison agreed and left, Tara looked at Mickie and quietly said, "Thank you."
