Heartwarming / Maiden Rose

• Klaus' question at the beginning of the second volume: 'Did you end up dirty like this because all night long you were holding me?'
• Taki bringing Klaus back to life with a Kiss of Life juxtaposed with Klaus in a vision telling his little sister that he is leaving because he 'found his only rose' and Taki tearfully saying 'Welcome home' when he opens his eyes. These moments are all bittersweet when you consider that they are in a war and the relationship between Klaus and Taki isn't exactly trouble free.
• Klaus and Taki's conversation in chapter 20 of the manga, which seems to indicate that they (and in particular, Klaus) are finally going to start moving out of the destructive pattern their relationship has become and work together in the future.
