• Practically any on-screen interaction between him and his wife.
  • Before his Chicago Street Fight against Ciampa, she approached him with one of Ciampa's crutches and told him "KICK HIS ASS".
• After being beaten by Johnny Gargano at WWE Cruiserweight Classic, Tommaso Ciampa refused to shake his friend's hand, almost left the ring, then returned and gave his friend and tag team partner a hug, then raised his hand.
  • Earlier in that match, Ciampa was in full, crazy eyed, Psycho Killer mode, and pulled down his knee guard intending to deliver a bare knee strike... but stopped himself just before pulling the trigger and put his guard back on. Of course, his moment of mercy is quickly answered by Gargano superkicking him.
• The conclusion of the NXT Tag Team Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa unsuccessful in their bout against The Revival. The audience is held in suspense all throughout, fearing a Face–Heel Turn from Ciampa. Instead, he pulls Gargano into a hug and they exit the arena together, mirroring the conclusion of their match against each other at the WWE Cruiserweight Classic.
• #DIY shows how even a threat can become a heartwarming moment when they challenge the Authors of Pain to a rematch for the Tag Team Championships:
  Precious Paul Ellering: In two weeks, you can have your rematch for the NXT Tag Team Titles. Make peace with your loved ones before then!
  Ciampa: Hey, Johnny, I love you, man.
  Gargano: Oh, I love you too!
• From NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, although a short-lived one: Johnny Gargano hesitating to hit his partner-turned-arch-nemesis Tommasso Ciampa with a broken crutch before sitting down next to him in a manner reminiscent of their match at the Cruiserweight Classic, showing that Johnny still had some hope Ciampa could be redeemed.
• Upon finally winning the NXT Championship at Takeover: New York, Gargano is immediately tackle hugged by his wife Candice Lerae, who helps him celebrate. There's much posing with the fans, and Gargano goes into the crowd to hug his parents, his in-laws, and his longtime friend Gregory Iron. The creme de le creme? While on the stage, Ciampa comes out, neck brace and all, and embraces his friend, signaling the end of their near two-year long feud.
• Gargano's absolute love of his hometown of Cleveland is another example. The man loves the city and, after winning the NXT Championship, he came home to celebrate. He got to throw the opening pitch at a Cleveland Indians baseball game, got to tour the Browns football headquarters, was given a special donut at his favorite donut shop Brewnuts, and the most touching was his get-together with his family and friends at his family's catering company.
• Coming to Tommaso Ciampa's aid on the October 23, 2019 episode when the latter was preparing to take on The Undisputed Era by himself. (And this was after a promo segment the previous week where he admitted to having mixed emotions about Ciampa's return and saying something to the effect of "I don't know how I'm gonna feel until we meet face-to-face.") Apparently, what he felt was that, despite and maybe because of all they had gone through together, he couldn't sit back and watch Ciampa walk into the UE meat grinder and endanger his freshly-reborn career. At least not alone.
• Forgoing his usual Marvel Comics themed Takeover/Premium Live Event gear at Elimination Chamber 2023 to pay tribute to his son Quill by wearing Bluey themed gear instead, as the event was taking place on Quill's first birthday.
