- Why would these people even want to convert Lisa to villainy in the first place? You could argue that her intellect could make her useful to them, but she also has a kind heart and is known for her Incorruptible Pure Pureness (most of the time), making it unlikely that she would embrace the lifestyle of villainy. The fact that she does in the Creative Closing Credits doesn't bolster their case—it just makes things even more confusing. If anything, they were better off trying to recruit Bart instead, as his worship of Satan is often played for laughs in The Simpsons.
- Simple. It's more evil to corrupt the purest of hearts than it is to just sway those who are already bad. After all, a certain clown prince of crime managed to turn Gotham's Bright Knight into Two-Face just so he could prove that even the most noble of men could fall after just one bad day; who's to say Disney's baddest couldn't do the same to Springfield's smartest and (mostly) morally sound person? Besides, Bart is chaotic, but his brand of chaos is too much even for them to control. And he does have a few standards such as wanting to be seen as a petty thug.
