    First movie
  • Why didn't the minimarket Elliot and Boog assault have any kind of security? I think that an alarm should have been activated once Elliot broke the door.
    • It's a relatively small town, some shops in those areas might not always have a security around with the town's budget.
  • Why didn't Sheriff Gordy arrest Shaw after Boog's disastrous performance if Shaw lives near Timberline? He should have just gone to Shaw's cabin and arrested him for his actions during the show...
  • Sheriff Gordy recommended Beth take Boog to the forest given his apparent attack on Elliot, but why did Beth do so? Boog didn't really hurt Elliot and after the curtain fell, it can be seen that it didn't contain blood, and there were no pieces of deer skin at the stage, which means that Boog didn't maim Elliot.
    • Even if there were no injuries, Boog already had the market raid incident behind him, and it is well known that if animals appear to get aggressive and raid human settlements they are seen as a public threat. Beth simply wanted to keep Boog safe as well as the town from a possible bear attack, regardless of whether she rightfully thought Boog wasn't a menace.
  • At the end, how is it possible that Bob and Bobbie didn't verify that Shaw isn't Bigfoot? They strapped him to the top of their RV, so they should have noted that "Bigfoot" isn't hairy but covered in leaves and lacking fangs, aside from having a human face.
    • It's pretty clear both are quite the cuckoolanders, they aren't likely to notice unless Shaw personally told them he was not, in fact, a sasquatch.

    Second movie
  • Why are Bob and Bobbie still searching for Mr. Weenie if Bobbie thought that they had been robbed in the first film? If they had been robbed, then Mr. Weenie would have been possibly kidnapped, so why they think that he can follow the dog biscuits trail they have left for him? If Mr. Weenie had been kidnapped by robbers, chances are that they could have disposed of the dog or even sell him to other people.
    • Because there's also a chance that Mr. Weenie just ran off before the robbery, or that maybe the robber scared him and he ran off then, instead of being kidnapped. They clearly love their dog, so they took any chance they had at getting him back
  • Why did the employee of the water park believe that Boog was a dog? It shouldn't have occurred to him that Boog is too big to be a dog? Also, shouldn't Mrs. Schlapiano sue him for roughly throwing her out of the resort for mistaking her for an intruder? She is an old woman and could have just got severely injured...
    • It probably shows the employee is too apathetic or stupid to notice.
  • When Elliot disguises himself as Mrs. Schlapiano, why does Fifi tell him to get lost? Fifi thought that Elliot was the real Mrs. Schlapiano but she is a human, so Fifi should not be concerned at all that a human can hear him talking? Or the animals of this franchise don't care if they are heard talking by humans?
