- I think it is implied that you aren't literally building it yourself more that you have a lot of influence in what gets bought and built. And there are teachers.

- How come the theatre group didn’t ask Amber’s parents for funding when the Crandalls withdrew their money? Her parents have no issue with ice sculptures and renting out an amusement park. Not to mention giving $10000 in the first book. She could’ve been convinced to ask them to donate.
- Rory actually suggests this in Chapter 9, but the idea is quickly abandoned when Ajay bursts in to inform them of the scholarship opportunity. Once the scholarship is brought up, however, everyone acts as if it is their only chance to fund the trip, and nobody thinks to revisit the idea afterward when it looks like they won't win the grant.
