• Why do the staff members' in their emails discuss the animatronics like they're real? Aren't they just augmented reality (in-universe, anyways)?
  • Scott has stated that in-universe it isn’t an AR game. It’s an actual delivery service that sends animatronics to people’s houses. They ARE real.
    • Jesus christ. How on Earth did these things ever get accepted? Wouldn't the FNAF world be aware that these animatronics are murderous by now?
    • Not everything in the game is canon, mostly just the emails and the existence of such a delivery service. The actual gameplay where they are always hostile (and the skin/remnant-collecting aspect) are probably not actually canon and are there so that there’s an actual game to play.
• Following up on the above discussion, if the animatronics are all real in-universe, how exactly does 8-Bit Baby work?
