• Is Frieza's actual maximum power level in Multiverse 530,000, or is that what Salagir thinks his maximum should have been in canon?
  • It's an error or misunderstanding on Salagir's part. Frieza's base form has the power level of 530,000. His 4th form has a power level of about 60 million, with 100% being around 120 million.
• How, in a series where Goku's base is weaker than Frieza and King Cold's second form is as strong as Frieza, is King Cold's sixth form only at Perfect Cell's level?
  • Goku's base form being weaker than 100% Frieza according to Beerus didn't come out until Battle of Gods, which only came out in 2013. Salagir would have to guess how much stronger Goku's base form was by the end of the series. As for King Cold's sixth form, the best guess is that the power increase isn't that great. Also, when they say Perfect Cell, do they mean Cell before or after he self-destructed?
    • The french novelization (Chapter 136) elaborates that it's after he self-destructed. Vegeta senses he's holding back and could have given SSJ2 Gohan a good fight, while Cell muses that he might have lost if he had faced him at that power level 27 years ago.
  • And even that is kind of contradictory with some of the things we've seen in DBZ. An easy explanation would be that Goku was just suppressed when Beerus made that assessment.
• Why is Super Saiyan 3 treated like a fundamentally different form? The series has Super Saiyan 3 become harder to use the stronger the user is, even though this isn't true with Super Saiyans 1 and 2 and there's no evidence for this in the original series.
  • Most likely, Salagir is basing this on how Gotenks could only hold Super Saiyan 3 for five minutes and Goku's trouble with that form during the Kid Buu fight. Super Saiyan 3 is in canon a harder form to maintain compared to Super Saiyan 1 and 2 (especially since Goku had mastered it while dead, and thus with a body with virtually unlimited energy), but Salagir exaggerated what a drain it is.
• Why is Ginyu so dumb? If he had used the change ability more towards the 20 or 25 second mark of the countdown instead at exactly 30 seconds, he could have avoided fighting Vegito at all. When universe 16 discovered what he did, he could have claimed that he was actually a fighter from universe 8 (making it a win for universe 8 as !GinyuBra) making it illegal for Vegito to attack him lest they lose the tournament outright. He of course knows Frieza would kill him if he went back to their side, but that was the perfect opportunity to hold Bra's body hostage and negotiate a way out. Theoretically, he could also have claimed to be part of universe 16 either by forcing Vegito to play along lest they lose Bra's match (since Ginyu would have technically won for universe 8) or claim that the body belongs in universe 16 and that he won for their team (this is plausible given how utterly exploitable this tournament's rules are). There was any number of deals he could have made including using the wish of the Dragon Balls to give him a new body. Instead he just does the same thing he does in DBZ instead. This is after he was apparently playing as The Chessmaster for years against the strongest beings of his universe. Plus, he could have just killed Frieza and Coola at any time since he had gotten much stronger than them in Cold's body. Why did he even bother with the charade at that point? What was the point? It's not like Frieza's empire is inherited. Simply being the strongest in the universe would give him enough leverage to take control with Cold, Frieza, and Cooler dead.
  • It is hinted in his special that he wanted the sheer pleasure of humiliating Frieza and his family. This alone explains why he let the charade go on for that long.
