The Whale Shark
- The fact that the entire plot got kickstarted because Dashi somehow mistook the inside of a whale shark's mouth for a cave.
- Likely unintentional, but during the Octo-Alert, Peso reacts to the Octo-Alert with surprise...even though he's the one who sounded it!
- Barnacles and Kwazii devise a plan to slip into the whale shark's mouth and get Dashi out. Kwazii opts to confuse the whale shark by leaping all around like a heap of spaghetti.
- He even doodles squiggles all over the diagram of the notepad.
- The fact that Barnacles isn't even annoyed that Kwazii doodled all over the notepad and even decides to go with the plan makes this even funnier.
- And when they do get eaten by the whale shark, we get this exchange:
Barnacles: You never got to leap around like spaghetti, did you Kwazii?Kwazii: No. I got sucked in like a wet noodle. - Meanwhile, Peso tries to contact the captain and Kwazii...by Button Mashing on the GUP-A's control panel. Needless to say one of the buttons triggers the airbag, sending him flying to the back of the GUP.
- "You don't have measles or chickenpox. You have...Octonauts!" (cue whale shark moaning)
- When Barnacles and Kwazii reach the whale shark's stomach, they hear a clicking noise and question each other, until the captain gets out a flashlight and both get startled by Dashi taking pictures of the stomach.
- Then later on, Dashi was sharing the photos she took of her most recent adventure and deciding which ones she should send to National Sea-o-graphic. Inkling says that she should send every one of the photos she took. Cue a photo of Kwazii in the captain's arms appearing on the screen.Barnacles: Actually, not all of them.Kwazii: Ooh. You might wanna skip a few.
- And then two of the vegimals copy the exact same pose as Barnacles and Kwazii did in the photo.
- Then later on, Dashi was sharing the photos she took of her most recent adventure and deciding which ones she should send to National Sea-o-graphic. Inkling says that she should send every one of the photos she took. Cue a photo of Kwazii in the captain's arms appearing on the screen.
- The fact that Peso inadvertently frees Barnacles, Kwazii and Dashi by tickling the whale shark's gills to get him to open his mouth.
The Undersea Storm
- When Kwazii tries out the new turbo booster on the GUP B, he goes super fast. Then we jump back to Tweak, who's monitoring the GUP on a screen, and from her perspective, the GUP is driving in a fast, squiggly mess, much to her exasperation.
- The Running Gag of Kwazii shaking paws with a young lobster.
The Crab and Urchin
- Barnacles wakes up Shellington in the middle of the night, needing information on the creatures he and Kwazii are helping. Afterwards Shellington falls asleep at the screen.
- Even better; In the French dub, he sounds like he's meowing in his sleep.
- Any time where the crab and urchin argue.
- Then when Barnacles calls them out for being so loud, disturbing neighbouring sea snails, they immediately go back to arguing about who's being too loud. Hypocritical Humour at its finest.
- When the two separate, they immediately get their own problems. The crab has trouble making himself look intimidating to other crustaceans and the urchin has trouble finding food.
- When Kwazii tries to carry the urchin to find food, he ends him juggling him due to the latter being prickly.
- Barnacles tries to teach the crab some self-defense. The crab fails. Miserably.
