• As with in the previous games, conversations with Kohaku and Null occasionally bring in the chuckles:
  • Null asks Copen if his Razor Wheel is meant to fight off sharks. A confused Copen asks for clarification, to which Null mentions about a video Lola shows her about a hero who uses an electric saw to fight off a whirlwind of sharks. Copen then has to clarify that it is just fiction.
  • Copen mentions a past incident where Kohaku tried doing maintenance on his eye, and he ended up seeing things as pixel sprites for a while. Even Lola has no idea just how Kohaku managed to do that.
  • Kohaku recounts to Null about the Gunvolt universe, and Null ends up getting confused.
    Null: So, on the path to Eden, Quill and the Q-Tron^note from Love & Destroy, a game Inti Creates developed with Arc Entertainments rode the Gunbike while firing Ecstasy Shots...
    Lola: ... That girl's gone completely off the rails.
  • Null and Kohaku occasionally suggest that Copen's EX Weapons be used for everyday tasks. Null's suggestions mostly make some sense if weird (using Whirling Chopper as a cooling fan), but Copen has to shoot down Kohaku's ideas one after another, such as using Rolling Ripper to fetch a remote controller (it will chop the controller in half), or using Doomsday Charge to heat up a bath (good luck having the bathtub survive that).
  • Kohaku asks Lola about the many EX Weapons Lola used to have. After Copen explains about software incompatibility, Kohaku responds:
    Kohaku: I thought Lola might have just gone and sold all your old ones.
    Lola: Hey! I wouldn't do something like that!
  • One conversation has Null reveal that there's a Worker whose Mission is to give other people nicknames. Kohaku suggests that she and Copen visit him.
