Despite being a horror movie, this film has its Narmy moments.
- Armen, Onil, and Yugo pissing in the gate Lawang Sewu to see whose piss reaches the farthest. It would make them come out as elementary goofballs instead of being grown-up teenagers.
- There's just something off about going into a haunted location in one's period. It's sound silly at best.
- For Western viewers, Mbah Darmo's chants during the Spooky Séance may come out as funny.
- Onil's emotional breakdown when he starts praying to God about not wanting to be devoured by a ghost.
- He is later seen hugging a pillow like a child once he got a close call with the kuntilanak.
- Armen, who is the badass tough guy of the group and called "Men" for short, is suddenly terrified and begging for his life once the kuntilanak approaches him. Looks like he should not be called Men anymore because the tough guy image was thrown out almost immediately.
