  Eddy: You worry me sometimes, Ed.
• Double D's reaction to Cow and Chicken returning to the block: "Really? Cow and Chicken are back? Good for them... well good for Cow anyway. Chicken is annoying."
• On the November 17th, 2000 show, Double D had hosting duty and was notably nervous already, since a new show (Sheep in the Big City) was premiering that night. Enter Johnny Bravo, in full troll mode, actively trying to annoy him the whole night and pick at his sanity, with Chicken joining in nearly halfway into the night.
  Johnny: You're not mad about us messing with you, are ya?
  Double D: Let's talk about it after the show, ok...
  Chicken: But we just thought it was...
  Double D: LET'S TALK ABOUT IT AFTER THE SHOW, OK?!
  Johnny: Uh-oh...
  • Right before the premiere, Double D finally snaps at Johnny and Chicken and sics I.R. Baboon on them, who proceeds to chase them for the remainder of the night.
• Sheep hosted the block for one night with no help from the announcer at all. Note that he is not a Talking Animal. His hosting night also ends with him randomly kicking the CCF disc out of his way.
• When Mojo Jojo "took over" the show, and it turned out Blossom and Courage showed up because they both thought they were the host as well. Mojo even pointed out that Courage didn't talk, to which Courage protested "I do sometimes!" As he talked far less over the course of the show, we have to assume that Mojo only saw the later episodes of the show.
  • Mojo Jojo's attempt at comedy and everyone else's reaction.
  Mojo: I bet the announcer liked my set.
  Announcer: No, I didn't.
  • Mojo Jojo tries to turn Courage into a dog. It doesn't work. Blossom has to remind Mojo that Courage is already a dog.
