Fridge Brilliance

  • Everyone's student card reflects them.
    • Brownie is a Big Eater, and hers has frosting on it.
    • Sparky's is partially crinkled, which makes sense considering he's a Lovable Jock, and would probably accidentally damage it a bit.
    • Olive is an optimistic All-Loving Hero, and theirs has stars drawn over it.
    • Ginger's has blood over it, as she died and came back (it's likely the blood came from having it on her while being murdered).
    • Coco and Angel's cards are a lot more professional and deluxe, as they both attend a private school and are overall preppier than anyone else.
    • Patches is the only one to have a card that's completely generic, as he's simply a Badass Bookworm who spends most of his time reading, hardly ever doing anything to ruin his card.
  • Ginger has powers over life and death, which make sense considering she's a bloodhound.

Fridge Horror

  • Some of Patches' deaths in the third game count:
    • For starters, the very idea of murdering in the school in the middle of a crucial cat-dog friendship moment. Who knows how that'll affect cat-dog relations?
    • On top of that, a good chunk of the deaths are done by dogs (Sparky, Ginger, and Angel since he's in Patches' body) to a cat (as far they know, since Patches is a dog in a cat's body). Who knows how Whiskers and Mittens would react if they found out?
    • Speaking of which, Mittens' possible killing of Patches, before which they declare "Dogs are all monsters and deserve to rot in Infurno for all eternity.", and after which "One down, one thousand to go." Considering how powerful magic is, and that they're an expert in said magic... that doesn't bode well for dogkind.
