Fridge Brilliance

  • Why, of all the humiliating things he could have done to the Mayor, does Mako dress him up like a piñata? Because according to Mako, it was still his birthday, and piñatas are often fun birthday activities.
    • Why would Mako decide to do his birthday again in the first place? Because on the actual day of, he and his goons were beaten pretty badly and thrown in jail. This would be crummy on any day of the year, but on Mako's birthday it must have stung even more.
  • Pinchly is the only plant in a cast of mammals—it makes sense that he'd be the brainless one in the lineup.
  • Snag and Rawhide's Little Bit Beastly tendencies, like leaping into battle teeth-first or chowing down on a bowl of slop hands-free, make sense given their environment. They would have had to act a little less human to fit in, or else they're just subconsciously picking up on the habits around them.

Fridge Horror

  • If BW's potions are permanent, that poor saloon singer's going to spend the rest of his life a blind, giant worm mutant, and all because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they aren't permanent, either Mako's going to be crushed when the creature's stomach shrinks back to normal...or he'll stay the same size and the singer's body will explode. The only Hope Spot is that Mako is finding the..."exit" in the credits.
  • We know Rawhide's dad is dead, but where is her mom? Either Hidey's an orphan now, or her mom abandoned her before the start of the series.
    • For that matter, when Snag gets kicked out of the Sheriff's office, he seems to spend the whole night at the saloon. Where is his family?
    • Maybe they're in the city. Though that does raise another question: Why is Snag out alone in the Gulch at his age?
