• Fridge Brilliance:
  • Zipzapzop the Magneton tanking Altaria's Earthquake actually makes sense: Zipzapzop leveled up almost entirely on wild Marill, and each Marill gave about 2 HP EVs. In short, this gave Zipzapzop more HP to work with as it leveled up, which was what made the difference between life and death against Altaria. It also helped that Altaria is more of a Stone Wall than a Mighty Glacier, and lacked the same type attack boost on Earthquake. This becomes a Running Gag as Once an Episode a critter gets a miraculous win due to EV-boosted stats (and gets lampshaded in a thought bubble).
  • Jaiden's signature color is purple while her videos are in (mostly) greyscale. Jaiden comes out as Aroace, with the Asexual flag being very reminiscent of her colors.
• Fridge Horror: Jaiden was lucky that Tofu decided to lay her first eggs on top of the drawer, instead of in the secret hidey-hole she and Ari chewed out of the back of the drawer. Had she done the latter, it's possible Jaiden would have had no idea those eggs (or any of the subsequent 5 or 6^note depending on whether or not the final tally included the one that rolled off and broke without her intervention) existed until, at best, they started rotting and smelling. At worst, if Ari is indeed male and did indeed fertilize them, the additional mess and noise of the baby birds could end up being what tipped her off; and at that point she'd have a much bigger problem.
