Unexplained Reflection Transportation
is a crossover between The Owl House and Final Fantasy XIV. In this AU Luz is a young Drahn living on the First who has lost everything, only to somehow find herself on the Source near Ul’dah. From there she soon meets Eda and becomes her apprentice, making a new life for herself.
- Adaptational Species Change: All of the Owl House characters become Final Fantasy races. Luz becomes an Au Ra/Drahn (since she comes from the First before ending up on Hydaelyn somehow), for example.
- Alien Sky: Being from the First with its Endless Daytime, Luz is amazed by the Source's night sky.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Luz comes from the First, and had to kill Camila in self-defense after the latter became a sin eater.
- Death by Adaptation: Camila is dead, having died after becoming a sin eater.
- Hero of Another Story: The Champion of Light, also an Au Ra, has her adventures mentioned a few times.
- Morton's Fork: Amity finds herself in a scenario with her mission to spy on Eda; if she fails she'll be in big trouble, but she can't do too much to spy on them or they'll retaliate, and Willow in particular would not be happy if she tries anything.
- Stop Being Stereotypical: When on a date at Costa Del Sol, Amity (who is a Miqo’te in this AU) initially doesn't want to get into the water, and Luz laughingly says that she's living up to the cat stereotypes. One Amity tackles her in payback, she finds that it's actually not that bad.
