The Second Calamity War
is a quest by Spktr Alpha. It is a crossover between Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and Supreme Commander.
The Hashmal was not the only Mobile Armor to awaken. Once again, mankind is once again fighting for its survival against its greatest mistake.
Yet beneath the sands of Mars, a forgotten mobile suit is coming online. And all of the Mobile Armors in the area are converging on it.....
This fic contains examples of:
- Command & Conquer Economy: Since Cross has access to a Cybran ACU and its unlimited capabilities to create matter and energy, this is in full effect.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: 'AVERTED': Cross is considered such a dangerous foe that Mobile Armors attack it en masse, using roughly one hundred plumas'' and six Hashmals to try and kill her. They almost succeed, and Cross has to burn out her Armored Command Unit's main weapon to kill them all.
- Deadpan Snarker: The heroine of the fic, Morgan Cross.
- Enemy Mine: Due to the thread of the Mobile Armors, Tekkaden and Gjallarhorn have been forced to unite.
- From Bad to Worse: In this story, Iok didn't just wake up the Hashmal, but also every other mobile armor left in the solar system that was still functional. The ensuing carnage was so bad, Gjallarhorn and Tekkaden have been forced into a temporary alliance just to survive.
