Marcy and the Frogs
is an Amphibia fanfiction written by Disneydude94, with additional material provided by FlamingChainsaw.
What if Anne and Marcy swap their places in Amphibia? When Marcy ends up in Wartwood, she befriends the frog family known as the Plantars, and together they make an incredible journey to find her way back home and reunite with her with her closest friends.
This story is alternative spinoff to "Animorphia".
Marcy and the Frogs contains examples of:
- Adaptational Early Appearance
- Maddie, her sisters and their father all make their debut much earlier in Chapter 3, which adapts the episode Maddie & Marcy.
- King Andrias and Lady Olivia, as well as Newtopia in general, are introduced much earlier in Chapter 4.
- Ivy also gets an earlier introduction in Chapter 12, as does her mother Felicia.
- Ascended Extra: Maddie and Ivy get this treatment as the fanfic continues.
- Early-Bird Cameo: The Core makes a brief appearance at the end of Chapter 4, where Andrias informs it that the box has returned to Amphibia.
- Role Swap AU: This fanfic is sort of like Sasha and the Frogs, only in this case it's Marcy who swaps places with Anne, while Sasha still ends up at Toad Tower.
