Danganronpa: The Pitiful Plague Called Ignorance
is a currently ongoing series by RioA. Starring Mayari Liu, the Ultimate Epidemiologist, she and like peers (Ultimates) are trapped within what seems to be in a hospital ward, forced to play in a killing game against their will.
This Danganronpa fanfic contains examples of:
- Abandoned Hospital Awakening: Definitely, this is how Mayari and the others woke up. The setting does take place in a hospital, after all.
- Anyone Can Die: This is a given, especially since this is a Danganronpa story.
- Big Bad: The mastermind, obviously. To an extent, whoever is working behind the scenes.
- Body of the Week: Given Danganronpa's formula, this is certainly the case.
- Central Theme: Knowledge vs. Ignorance, though obviously there would be themes of truth and lies, and also hope versus despair.
- Deadly Game: It is a killing game, after all.
- Magical Girl: A boy, but Mazen given his talent. Silvana maybe, since she's a sin eater?
- Murder Mystery: The central mechanism and genre of the game.
- Ship Tease: Obviously, given this is a story and it is Danganronpa.
- The Ace: Given everybody in the story is an Ultimate, this is a given.
