A Great Escape

It had been several weeks since the Federation took over the world, and Rick’s estranged grandson still curses his grandfather for abandoning humanity in its time of need. However, Morty learns that nothing is ever simple, and he may find himself at the center of a battle for the fate of mankind.
’’A Great Escape’’ contains the following tropes:
- Aliens Are Bastards: The Federation effectively forced all of the Earth and its governments under their thumbs, imposing an authoritarian rule over all of humanity.
- Dystopian Edict: The Federation forces schoolchildren into their seats under the law and forces careers onto young people instead of letting them make their own choices.
- Puppet King: All of Earth’s governments have effectively become subservient to the Federation’s whims and interests.
- Sins of Our Fathers: Because of Rick’s incredible misbehavior, Morty is barred by the Federation from leaving Earth.
