Maria Josefin Asplund (born 15 October 1991) is a Swedish actress. While born in Stockholm, she grew up in suburbs of the city with her parents and older sister. Her mother is Polish originally, and divorced her father while Asplund was seven.

Asplund began acting a local theatre, getting into the profession as a result. She is best known internationally from Vikings as Astrid, but has many other credits to her name in her native Sweden.

She married her partner in April 2022. In August 2022 she gave birth to their baby.
