Juice Squeezers is a Young Adult Comic Book by David Lapham.

Beneath the town of Weeville California lies the biggest bug problem in the world. How big?

The bugs are quite literally the size of you or me.

Sometimes, these bugs will actually rise above ground and threaten the crops the folks need to live off of. Luckily, Weeville has the Juice Squeezers, a covert team of operatives who have dedicated themselves to protecting the people of town from this menace. Every day after school they go down into the cramped tunnels in which the bugs reside and gas them, ensuring they don't grow numerous enough to threaten the town.

Oh, and they're a bunch of kids.

Yeah, since the tunnels are so small, only preteen kids are able to go down into them to combat the bugs therein. It's a dangerous job, but these kids have what it takes to keep their homes safe from giant bugs.

The comic was published on April 20th, 2011.

Juice Squeezers contains examples of:

  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: Massive insects live in the tunnels below Weeville, California.
  • The Bully: Stampo LOVES treating the team like crap.
  • Eyepatch of Power: Coach Kettleborne, the leader of the Juice Squeezers, has an eyepatch. He gained it while fighting in The Battle Of Valley May Farms, where a Potato tried to burrow into his skull through his eye.
  • Tunnel Network: Beneath Weeville, created by the massive bugs that live there.
  • Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World: The Juice Squeezers are still kids, and thus they have to put up with school, homework, and parents.
