Sometimes, these bugs will actually rise above ground and threaten the crops the folks need to live off of. Luckily, Weeville has the Juice Squeezers, a covert team of operatives who have dedicated themselves to protecting the people of town from this menace. Every day after school they go down into the cramped tunnels in which the bugs reside and gas them, ensuring they don't grow numerous enough to threaten the town on the scale they did in 1970.

Beneath the town of Weeville California lies the biggest bug problem in the world. How big?

The bugs are quite literally the size of you or me.

Oh, and they're a bunch of kids.

Yeah, since the tunnels are so small, only preteen kids are able to go down into them to combat the bugs therein. It's a dangerous job, but these kids have what it takes to keep their homes safe from giant bugs.

The comic was published on April 20th, 2011.
