Milodane
The main protagonist, Milodane is an archeologist from the planet Aegis, looking to prove his theory that Earth is humanity's true homeworld.
Nevus
Milodane's pet dog, and companion on his search for Earth. Although he was meant to accompany Milo's exploration of the planet itself, a teleporter malfunction means he remains stuck on their ship.
- Small Role, Big Impact: He's only present during the opening and closing cutscenes, but his toy bone turns out to be the last necessary component to helping Milodane and Ardwin escape the house.
- Robot Dog: He's a hovering robot that both looks and acts like a dog.
Ridmi
A bombyx who discovers Milodane after he reaches Earth. His long-term goal has been to complete Ardwin's Device, which now seems possible with the assistance of Milodane and the Tinykin.
- Gadgeteer Genius: He's smart enough to decipher the blueprints for Ardwin's Device, and invented recording machines he leaves to provide hints.
- I Choose to Stay: Despite his goal being to create a device that can leave the house, he ultimately stays behind, saying he can't leave his assistants behind, nor ignore how the insects of the house may need his help in the future.
Prattle
An ant who serves as the curator of several of Ardwin's artifacts. They task you with recovering them, offering their knowledge in return.
- Faint in Shock: An understandable reaction when he meets Ardwin.
- Foreshadowing: Two of the artifacts you can find are a discarded life-support system Ardwin uses to stay alive, and a sketch of the aliens that keep the house as a display.
- Meaningful Name: Prattle tends to talk...a lot.
Sikaru
An ant who distills the pollen Milodane collects into nectar. They offer the normally discarded foam as fuel for Milodane's bubble glider whenever they make a new brew.
Ardwin
The owner of the house that Milodane finds himself in. Worshipped as a god, despite no bugs ever having seen him.
- Walking Spoiler: Despite being worshipped throughout the house, the truth about him is only fully revealed in the final area.
