Bomilcar and Hamilcar Barca [Dead]
A pair of miscreant Orc brothers, Bomilcar and Hamilcar have a turbulent relationship strained further by opposing stances on the nature of their careers as bandits.Associated Tropes
- Dropped After the Pilot: The Barca brothers are only featured in a single story, with little chance to reappear in the future.
- Killed Offscreen: Bomilcar. Killed between R.Ps by falling off of a speeding cart and breaking his neck.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Bomilcar, the larger of the two, carries a warhammer and a book of poetry.
Cleos Warren [Dead]
A young knight from the Gloaming North stranded in the South, Cleos strides to be the model of chivalry and bravery. However, this is hard to uphold when you live as a mercenary in a continent filled with amoral warlords.Associated Tropes
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Eaten alive by a giant while assisting in his allies' escape.
Saturk of House Ur-Shamas
Once the simple son of a butcher, Saturk, a Krotem (Crocodile man originating from the swamps of Quelosq), has recently won a great and bloody melee in the Rivenstone of Hakeshar. For this great victory, he was inducted into a local Great House to serve as a Bannerman. He is a proud worshiper of The Bull (The God of Strength and Ambition) and is quite absorbed by himself in the wake of his new social standing.Associated Tropes
- Man Bites Man: In his melee to become a Bannerman, Saturk fatally ate the face off of a towering cyclops who was favored to win.
- Rags to Riches: It only took a raw face to bring Saturk up from the streets of Hakeshar's urban sprawl, to the position as Bey of a small fief of pecans.
Subon Naroul
A bug-eyed native of the port city of Quelosq, Subon is a member of the Temple of the Deep, arguably the most powerful organization at work in the city. A fanatic and patriot, Subon has an unflinching sense of duty and an unflinching hatred of those who refuse his dark master's will.Associated Tropes
- Cynical Mentor: Subon has one of these in the form of Donulos, a wood-toothed senior priest of the Deep who treats him as though he were still a child.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: While he is a fanatic zealot, Subon does have a softer side to him. Notably, when he gave a river boat captain a small fortune as a thanks for saving his life after a close encounter with a swamp creature.
- Odd Friendship: Subon and Ebor-Arsai. One is a staunch human from Quelosq, and the other is a laid-back Krotem from a small tributary village. Both a priests of the Deep, and have a mutual understanding, if not more.
- Parental Abandonment: A young Subon was given to the priesthood as a gift from his father, a local fishmogner.
- Reassigned to Antarctica: Subon was forced to stay in the backwards village of Eshmun for a time after botching a mission trip.
- The Fundamentalist: Played straight. Subon is a hardline follower of the Deep and is automatically hostile towards any heretic or heathen that crosses his path.
