Family Monsalve-Obscura

The protagonist family. All of them have alternative names because of Violeta or Dagmar.
    Violeta Monsalve Obscura/ Murasaki Fujita
One of the protagonists of the saga. The youngest mangaka in the world and one of the few that aren't japanese. She made the saga Sho-shan Z as both a way to make her little sister to forgive her and to tell the story of her family as she knows it really happened.
  • The Ace: Her mentor only had to take a look to her draws in order to know that there was nothing left to teach her. Since that very moment he knew that she was going to be one of the greatest mangakas ever.
  • Action Girl: She's capable of defeating adults when she was just 11 years old. We wonder what she can do know since Violeta had been trained by a shinto priestess.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: She was bullied at school because of her looks. And when little 'blonde' Luisa was born, the bullying included calling her mother a whore. It doesn't end well for the bullies.
  • Ambiguously Brown: At least in the first book, when everybody outside her family just asumed that Violeta was just a mexican with chinese looks. It could make some sense because her father comes from Sonora, a state with strong chinese inmigration, in order to give an alternative explanation to her origin The real ethnic origin of Violeta is Rusian-japanese because of Dagmar and chinese because of her biological father.
  • Ascended Fangirl: Who doesn't dream about working hand-by-hand with their favorite mangaka? even if it doesn't result as she dreamed
  • Broken Ace: At age 22 she's a succesful mangaka who's adored as a living goddess, she has a loving fiance and is working with the best mangaka EVER. Yet, she's pretty unhappy with her life.
  • Dude Magnet: It's not hard for both Sasuke and Genjo to fall in love with her at first sight.
  • Gamer Chick: She loves to play videogames, as her boss states, and it's pretty skilled at it
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Her original name means violet.
    • Her pseudomin is a way to tell the world that she doesn't care about what's her mother's real identity Danae Fujita, a dangerous Kenpeitai agent, she loves her anyway.
  • Secret Diary: The first book is based on the diaries that she made between ages 6 to 11.
  • The Dog Bites Back:
    • On the second book, despite having worldwide fame and her life practicaly resolved, she's angry at Kokoa and Kunikida since she can't have a normal life and she can't tell the story of her family as she wants to do.
    • On the third book, even if Yuga made her search for her biological family easier, she's just incredulous and suspicious about his intentions so she plans to leave China.

    Luisa Monsalve Obscura/Cho Mori
  • Action Girl: She was capable to run away from an hospital and defeat several doctors when she was 'four years old'.
