Tetsurō Okino
Arumi Nikaidō
- Action Girl: The only female pilot in NHI who can pilot the Bullbuster and other mechs in service with the company.
- Not So Stoic: Despite Arumi’s stone cold and aloof attitude towards Okino, she is visibly shown breaking down in tears at the end of "The Incredible Operation to Capture a Giant Beast Alive Begins!" when she reunited with a mutated Shiro. She is also shown briefly but visibly crying after she is forced to put Shiro down at the end of "Shiro Loses Control! Can They Save Their Stranded Companions? Bullbuster’s First Urban Battle!".

- Obstructive Bureaucrat: Kataoka is single-handely responsible for a lot of the doom and gloom the rest of the cast feels by constantly reminding them of expenses, paperwork and how acting like it's a Super Robot show is going to make the company go broke. He even looks like the second coming of Cosmo Spacely.

- Reasonable Authority Figure: He tries to accomodate ideas and suggestions laid out by his staff in order for NHI to effectively take out the Giant Beasts.
