The soundtrack/score of Tenchi Muyo! is among some of the most beautiful music in anime, and the fact that it was virtually untouched when it hit the Western market speaks volumes.
- Tenchi Muyo!:
- Both versions of "Teardrop of The Royal Family" are self-explanatory themes to show the strife and hardships of the Royal Jurai Family and serves as one of the unofficial Bootstrapped Themes of the franchise, along with "Sad Ayeka".
- "Sad Ayeka" is a sweet but melodramatic piece to accompany the Crown Princess of Jurai.
- "Washu's Heartache" is a lovely addition that shows the Hidden Depths of the Mad Scientist that underneath her wacky and eccentric demeanor lies a hurting soul with a troubled past.
- "Flashback" is a gentle track that's usually heard whenever Tenchi reminisces about his long-deceased mother.
- "I Love Tenchi" is a similar-sounding track to "Flashback" that shares a lot of the same poignant memories for Tenchi.
- "Thinking of Home" is one of Princess Sasami's unofficial themes that showcases her or another character's loneliness and homesickness.
- "Kagato's Theme" is the Orchestral Bombing theme for the Big Bad of the anime, heard whenver he appears or is about to do battle with one of the heroes.
- "After The Storm" fills one with a sense of hope and whimsy of how happy life is, or can be.
- "Ryoko's Theme" is a lively track to accompany the series' spirited Space Pirate and Breakout Character.
- Tenchi Universe's opening theme already kicks major ass in Japanese, but the English version is just as awesome, if not better. Probably helps that the same artist sings both versions.
- "Up-Walk & Galaxy", in Japanese and English. Never has bragging about love been better.
- "Memories" is a beautiful but heartbreaking theme set to several of the last episodes of the anime, namely the previews of the next episode.
- "Forevermore's" Japanese and English versions are the perfect setting of Ryoko not wanting to let go of a desired dreamworld.
- "Dimension of Love" gave the anime a touching send-off.
