Pac-Man World
- The title screen is really jazzy, making great use of music from Ms. Pac Man, and a great start to an awesome game!
- The level results screen is a smooth and jazzy tune with shades of the classic Pac-Man interstitial music, and it manages to be relaxing despite the presence of heavier instruments like guitars in some places.
- Buccaneer Beach has a catchy melody, and doubles nicely for an upbeat first level and the pirate motif.
- Crazy Cannonade is a rather jolly sounding tune that makes you feel like a pirate.
- Far Out, a soothing, mellow song embodying the wonders of space and a nice breather after the intense Space Race.
- Spin Dizzy is a really upbeat and catchy Calliope song with the Pac Man theme mixed in.
- Under Pressure has a short loop, but really makes the most of it, using piano and industrial noises to build tension on loop.
- Ghostly Garden is a fittingly spooky yet awesome track.
- King Galaxian is a great remix of the Galaga theme and makes for an awesome battle!
- And this is all despite the soundtrack being compressed to fit on the PS1 disc.note The original, slower, and properly pitched tracks make all of the above even grander.
- The music in the Re-Pac Remake sounds nearly identical to the original but makes them sound even better by making them sound uncompressed, especially since the November 2022 update.note
Pac-Man World 2
The game has a different song for each world and every level is given a variation.
- The menu music is a great opening theme that sets up a jolly, adventurous tone for the rest of the game. There are also variations of the menu:
- The Bear Basics is a beautiful piece for the first level.
- Blinky's Killer Frog successfully turns this piece into a sinister boss song.
- Canyon Chaos has a slightly more bombastic instrumental, but is cheerful as usual.
- Pac Dot Pond is a more soothing take on the theme, though it's still as upbeat as the other versions.
- B-Doing Woods is fun to listen to while bouncing around, befitting the stage's forest theme with its high spirits and whimsical instruments.
- Treewood Forest isn't quite as bouncy as the previous theme, but does a good job combining the more mellow tone with a catchy drum beat.
- Butane Pain has a more tribal and minimalist vibe, seeing as it plays in the deeper section of the woods.
- Inky's Blade O Matic, similar to Blinky's Killer Frog, turns the forest leitmotif into a dark and imposing orchestral boss theme.
- Ice River Run is an energetic, exploratory song that is a great fit for the first ice stage.
- Avalanche Alley ups the intensity to go with the level's main attraction of gigantic snowballs chasing you.
- Blade Mountain is even heavier than the last two thanks to its tougher beats combined with the thundering orchestra, fitting the level's one-way nature.
- Pinky's Revenge is an odd piece that starts off gentle and unfitting for a boss battle but soon becomes epic.
- Into The Volcano is a cool and chill piece with an underground vibe. It's good to relax to before things get more heated in the later volcano stages.
- Volcanic Panic has a calm and relaxing sound despite being That One Level.
- Magma Opus is also That One Level, but is made all the more rewarding with this epic track, a darker and more dramatic counterpart to the previous volcano themes.
- Clyde in the Caldera is way too epic for its own good and is very fitting for That One Boss.
- Scuba Duba is a quick yet ethereal underwater theme, though there's a sense of lingering danger in certain parts.
- Shark Attack is even faster with its bouncy techno beat.
- Yellow Pac-Marine is a full orchestral remake of the underwater theme, giving it a more grandiose vibe especially since the level is in a more open space.
- Whale On a Sub is fittingly more dramatic than the other underwater songs since it plays during a boss battle.
- Haunted Boardwalk is a delightfully spooky track with a fast pace, and is perfect to play on Halloween.
- Night Crawling is the most chilling out of all the Ghost Island themes due to its slower pace and darker ambience.
- Ghost Bayou is a great tune for the last level, taking the catchy rhythm of "Haunted Boardwalk" and turning it more mysterious and fantasy-like.
- Spooky is an appropriately climactic theme for the final battle.
Pac-Man World 3
This soundtrack is much more subdued than the other games and it really stands out with soothing ambience instead of upbeat music.
- The menu is a mysterious and ambient piece.
- Pac-Dot Maze, in contrast to the rest of the game's atmospheric pieces, is a peppy, catchy blend of techno and ragtime.
Pac-Man World Rally
- The Main Menu / Retro Maze is Classic Pac-Man goodness!
- Cloud Garden, the first race already gets us started with hard-rocking arcade music that is also a remix of the opening theme.
- Molten Mountain, unlike Mario Kart, the second race in the game already throws you into a volcano alongside an epic orchestra with chanting.
- Rolling Hills is a laid-back and jazzy tune that is great for driving through a scenic route.
- Ghost Mansion, a spooky and haunted track that would fit easily in Luigi's Mansion.
- Canyon Crusade, a soothing Spanish guitar is the way to go. Sound familiar? Well, it should! Because this is secretly a Flamenco styled remix of Block Town from Pac-Mania! Talk about subtle!
- Subterranean Speedway is a great homage to the long-forgotten Dig Dug, a Bandai Namco Entertainment classic and with classic arcade sounds to boot! This is made even better by the fact this song plays in the game's resident Marathon Level.
