Awesome Music / LISA: The Hopeful

Go To

As with the original LISA and fellow fan-game LISA: The Pointless, Hopeful has some pretty kick-ass tracks.

  • "Hot Metal", the Engine Enthusiasts' theme, is a catchy mixture of machinery and synth that just sounds plain awesome when combined together.
  • The slow version of Chris Columbo that plays when you meet the Lovelies fits the menacing tension of the scene.
  • "Waste of Space", the Sexy Bridge Trolls' theme, is a vague remix of the original LISA the Joyful's already absurd "666 Kill Chop Deluxe"... and the airhorns are replaced by clips of Wally's laugh in the original game.
  • "Ballad of the Hernandez Family" and the remix of Brawlin' are both great battle themes for the Kegger Krew.
  • "The Feel Of Her", which plays during the sports match with Team Mexican Pink, sports catchy and circular electronica that meshes well with Will Nutter's ridiculous shit-eating grin.
  • "Monarch of Sports", the battle theme for the Sports King and his escorts, is all heavy drumbeats and loud horns, and it's absolutely fucking epic.
  • "Moist Sorghum" and "Occult Groove" (slow version), the battle themes used for fighting fishmen, are both catchy, chill tunes you'll be humming for days.
  • "HeartBurn", playing during the Lovely convoy, is a determined yet hopeful track. It really helps set up a Hope Spot and gives you that feeling that you can save the day - that you'll be able to beat the Lovelies and save your friends.
  • On Rodriguez's route, "Heartburn" is replaced with "Heart Palpitations", a much more energetic and optimistic version. Fittingly, whereas "Heartburn" ends with a massive Tear Jerker, "Heart Palpitations" ends with an awesome Big Damn Heroes.
  • "Lovely Little Boys", a pounding battle theme that plays when you fight the various groups of Lovelies. It perfectly portrays the adrenaline rushing through Beltboy (or the surviving party member) as they take on the group who wronged their friends. Just Lovely plays during the later Lovely fights and is just as adrenaline-filled.
  • "Burnt Dirt", the theme for the final area of the game, is a melancholy yet determined song, perfect for the fights against what's left of the Lovelies.
  • Hart's Battle Theme Music, "Broken Heart", is a hybrid of "The End is Nigh" and a reversed version of "All-American Badass". It does not disappoint when it comes to capping off the end of your Roaring Rampage of Revenge.
