- Jeff delivering a blistering "The Reason You Suck" Speech to his neighbors when they, blaming Jeff for the neighborhood becoming a war zone despite the fact it was their idea to use him to protect the neighborhood without seeing these consequences, decide to get him out of the neighborhood in hopes of making a deal with the Golden Lords. Also doubles as a Tear Jerker due to Robert Townsend's delivery. The hurt at his neighbors using him as a scapegoat is visible in his voice and expressions.Earnest Moses: Let's vote on it.Jefferson Reed: You don't have to vote. I'll leave. I'm sorry about what happened to the neighborhood tonight, but I feel even sorrier watching what's going on in this room. How can we stop the crime and the gangs if we act like we don't see them? Everybody complains about the police. They aren't perfect. But how can you complain when you do nothing? (Beat) You don't have to vote.
