  • Hutch's son tackles a home invader who is pointing a gun at his father.
  • Hitch gets a good Sherlock Scan of the home invaders and the multiple ways that the state of their guns shows they are harmless.
  • The old vet who recognizes Hitch as an auditor by his tattoo also spots how his badge belongs to someone else after only seeing the date on it for about a third of a second from an angle.
  • The fight on the bus where Hutch beats up five thugs to protect a girl they're harassing. When they throw him out the window after both sides take a heavy beating, he just gets up, marches back in, and puts all of them in the hospital with his next round of blows.
  • Yulian instantly defends Pavel against the racist insults of his associates and Pavel chimes in with his own comments defending his Russian identity.
    • Ax-Crazy Yulian gets done bemoaning the injuries done to his brother and a hospitalized henchman points out, With Due Respect, that Yulian doesn't even really like his brother. Yulian just points out that the comment was both true and unwise. No violence!
  • When Hutch pays the Barber an unannounced visit, the Knowledge Broker is anticipating his visit and already has a file with all the information he needs ready.
  • A woman working for Yulian casually contacts and blackmails a Pentagon worker for Hutch's file within seconds of being told to amp up her background check. Then, when she sees the badass feats in the file, she has a very classy Screw This, I'm Outta Here moment. She immediately packs her bags, walks into her boss’ office, tosses him the computer printouts, and quits her job and leaves before he even has time to pick the printouts up.
  • The fight at Hutch's house where he silently kills several thugs in the dark. However, Pavel and his last goons get some credit for managing to defeat Hutch, with one Dark Action Girl not bothering to pull a knife out of her arm until after they lock Hutch in their trunk.
  • David killing the two goons who come for him at his retirement home and calmly fooling an orderly into thinking nothing is wrong.
  • In the climax, Hutch, David, and Harry fight and kill dozens of Russian goons with scores of explosive traps, hidden guns, and hand-to-hand combat moves. This culminates in Hutch charging at Yulian with an Claymore mine and an improvised reinforced glass shield to protect himself from the blast.
