Kuroki defending Akane from Tachibana

Because Etra-chan saw it! is a cathartic work, they are bound to have moments full of these.

  • Kuroki saving Akane from her horrible abusive father Tachibana. When Tachibana tried to get Akane, he refused. Yeah, he got beat up, but he stood his ground. Then the police came and took Tachibana away.

  • Karin. When she gets serious, she gets EPIC.
    • Special mention goes to the time where she saved Kuroki from an abusive home. When Yuzuriha and Tokusa divorced she got custody of their son Kuroki. Karin met with Kuroki, and they had a good relationship. Yuzuriha got a new boyfriend Tachibana, but it turns out he hates kids and Yuzuriha allows him to abuse Kuroki. One day, they put Kuroki in the washing machine. When Karin hears his screams, she PUNCHES both of them out, and saves him.

  • Yuri has moments.
    • Yuri's husband, Akamatsu was caught having an affair, had a baby with Azami, and wanted to divorce Yuri. He told her she could take anything except for the safe. So, she took everything and destroyed the house and only left the empty safe.
    • Another story also involves Yuri and Akamatsu. When she found out that he was cheating on her, her friend Yuzuriha came up with a plan to scare Akamatsu. First she pretended to be cooking stew even though it was actually mushrooms, replacing the homework that she did for him with a hacksaw, a knife and a bottle of pills, and renting out a scary movie. And to top it all off, Yuzuriha revealed Akamatsu badmouthing of his friends and his lecturer causing them to distance themselves from him.

  • A teacher decides to pick the weakest person in the class to 'unite them'. He tells the class to write shortcomings of their classmates. After reviewing the survey, he picks Akane, a former bully even though she changed for the better. He points out her shortcomings humiliating her. The class unites together for their classmate and decide to band together and decide to write the teacher's name on their next survey. The teacher loses it, and he was fired and replaced with another teacher.
  • Although it borders on Nightmare Fuel, Yuzuriha's epic "The Reason You Suck" Speech on the bully that nearly killed her.
I can see right through you. You're not here to apologize. You're just scared of going to hell.
If you really wanted to apologize why didn't you come to me even though you had to crawl?
  • Katsura endures a lot of physical abuse from his father, Akamatsu. One day, Akamatsu hits him as usual but Karin stops him from hitting her brother further more, Akamatsu threatens to hit her for getting in the way, this causes Katsura to snap and destroy everything he sees in his father's company and he also manages to scare his father by kicking a wall, it is so loud that it attracts the attention of the neighbors to see the situation. Everything turns out to be Katsura's plan to shut down his father's company so he can start his own company, including the crowd earlier because he informed them earlier because they knew that his father was an asshole. He also manages to intimidate his father into signing the document so the company can be shut down by giving him a Death Glare.
  • Akane and Azami (who are both elementary schoolers at the time) give a brutal beatdown to a perverted Hiiragi after he decides to propose to Yuzuriha, an elementary schooler he mistakes for an adult due to her body maturing early.
  • When Akamatsu deliberately puts a cigarette on John's bowl of ramen, Tachibana decides to get back at Akamatsu by forcing him to eat the ramen with the cigarrette in it.
  • Yuzuriha giving her stalker Hiiragi, a verbal thrashing after being harassed by him for so long. It ended up scaring Hiiragi so bad that he freaks out whenever he hears her name.
  • Yuzuriha activates her Mama Bear mode after witnessing her baby daughter Karin crying after she accidentally crawled into one of the shards from the drinking glass that her mother-in-law Azami threw earlier. Yuzuriha's intimidation (plus a knife in her hand) forces Azami to run away from Yuzuriha's house to escape her wrath. After that, Azami becomes terrified of Yuzuriha and tries to avoid her whenever they see each other.
  • Yuzuriha activates her mama bear mode again after her daughter, Akane, is accidentally kidnapped when she falls asleep in her dad Tachibana's car, and the car is stolen. Akamatsu, one of the car thieves, threatens Akane at knifepoint. Yuzuriha, enraged but silent, approaches with a shotgun, and all Tachibana can do is warn them as best he can that Yuzuriha absolutely will shoot if anything happens to their daughter.
  • Tachibana, even after getting a bottle smashed over his head, still fights Hiiragi and Akamatsu to a stand-still to prevent them from abducting Karin.
  • Props to Etra-chan when she depicts the usually good and morally righteous protagonists in the wrong, as that rarely occurs. Particularly, she does so with Karin in two episodes, which both center around her brother Akamatsu:
    • In one video, Karin judges Akamatsu and his wife Akane due to the fact they were both delinquents as teenagers. When she hears they're getting married, she thinks that she may have to take custody of their child due to how poorly she viewed them. And when they finally meet, she is initially unforgiving when Akamatsu apologizes for his mistakes as a kid, making him beg for forgiveness when she yells at him. However, when he explains to her that his anger and bad behavior was the result of trauma, Karin completely changes her tune and is remorseful for having judged him and not been there for him. She likewise feels bad for Akane when she hears what the girl went through, and by the end of it is in tears and apologizes for being so judgmental.
    • In another video, she treats him very harshly despite the fact he's actually a good and friendly brother to her, with his only crime being that he's a bit lazy and not too thoughtful of the future. When she calls him rotten and horrible (just after he brought her food and showed concern over how much she studied), she does feel bad, and realizes how cold she was. Akamatsu is further vindicated when he goes out of his way to help her when she makes a mistake and leaves her graduation gloves behind, and even their parents side with him before and after the confrontation, understanding that he would eventually figure himself out and that Karin was being too hard on him. By the end of it she apologizes and their relationship gets better.
    • In a moment of weakness, Kuroki lashes out at his delinquent adoptive son Tachibana after he makes a disrespectful comment about him and his late brother Tokusa. He regrets it immediately but by the time he gets home, Tachibana has already packed his things and ran away. He spends the next few years feeling that he failed Tachibana as a father for not being more considerate of the difficult place he was in emotionally. When Tachibana finally returns with his fiance Karin to apologize, Kuroki apologizes as well for not being there when Tachibana needed him.
    • Kuroki becomes suspicious that Akane is cheating on him due to a set of circumstances. While the misunderstanding is cleared up, Akane still chews him out for ever doubting her faithfulness, marking Kuroki as 100% in the wrong for letting his paranoia get the best of him.
