Awesome / Dead Man

• A lot of tropes in the Western are subverted in Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man, but William gets a legit CMoA with this scene:
  Detective: You William Blake?
  William: Yes, I am. Do you know my poetry?
• Also, pretty much any time Nobody saves his ass, which does work with the film's Western subversions since Nobody is Native American.
• When the racist missionary tries to pull a gun on Blake, only to be stabbed in the hand, shot in the chest, and robbed by Blake and Nobody.
  Missionary: God damn you to hell, William Blake.
  William: He already has. (bang)
