It wouldn't be called "Awesome Video Games" if there weren't any awesome moments to go with it.
- When Chet finally rebels against a manipulative R.O.B. in the Gyromite special, who's been causing the boys (and Dad) much misery since his return, the battle is just as intense as it is funny.
- Dad's Pre Ass Kicking One Liner when he finds out that Lester has been letting the boys do codes in the Game Genie arc.Dad: Lester, I think it's time Dad takes out the Trash! *Grabs Lester by the scruff of his jacket*
- The entire montage during the "Chariots of AWESOME!" episode. Never has a simple game of World Class Track Meet looked so intense. Bonus points to Ace for pulling off an aerial splits pose, which not only blows Chet away, but even Dad is shocked and reluctantly gives him some applause for it.
- During the Punch-Out!! arc when Ace is stunned during his bout with Von Kaiser, the latter winds up for an uppercut so intense that the TV radiates a fantastic glow while the entire room shakes. Ace and Chet are just left agape at the sheer power that Von Kaiser is building.
- During the finale of Excite Bike, Chet designs a custom track for Ace that at first seems relatively boring... until the camera pans out to a giant freaking ramp launch that defies the game's limitations. Ace is so excited that he goes full throttle and speeds insanely up the enormous ramp, all with the NES motor sound rising in pitch the faster he goes. Then it all comes to a head when he flies off the ramp so fast that his biker momentarily flies above the clouds... before crashing down in the most spectacular way possible.
- The "EPIC Excitebike Jump!" episode (which ultimately served as the Series Finale before going on an indefinite hiatus) ends with a pretty epic "YEAH!" Shot of the boys and Dad leaping at the camera and freezing in place. Bonus points to the Chiptune cover of "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls that plays in the background during this scene.
