At issue:

The fact that it is already been a manga for 15 years and an anime for close to that, and yet they haven't progressed much with the story. It's way too long and focuses so much on minute detail while sacrificing story progression. According to Oda, they're nowhere near done.

The 4Kids dub.

All of the death fakeouts with characters surviving virtually impossible situations with no explanation, mainly Pell and Brownbeard.

Filler laden episodes ruin tension

Sanji is starting to get seriously flanderized. Remember the suave gentleman who kicked butt on Baratie, made Top Ramen out of Wanze, and kicked Duval into oblivion? Nowadays he's almost unrecognizable due to his Chivalrous Pervert tendencies being dialed Up to Eleven. We want the *real* Sanji back!

Too many of the female characters look very similar, and the series can take things a little bit TOO far with The Most Common Superpower. Nami seems to be getting it the worst— Compared to her appearance in the beginning of the series(Art Evolution aside), she's so ridicuously Stripperiffic and Fanservice'd out today that she's barely recognizable!

The sheer length of it. Talk about Continuity Lockout.

Luffy's voice. No, I'm not talking about any of the dubs - I'm talking about the japanese version. I know they have Crossdressing voices in a lot of stuff...but honestly, if a character is in their late teens and is voiced by someone who's obviously female...enough is enough.

Sometimes the show stretches my willing suspension of disbelief a little to much.
