Bonus Boss is a disambiguation

* ThatOneAttack: Ugh. So many of these. Many, many bosses have devastating full-party attacks that will likely leave you in critical health, (if not totally wipe you out) and the [[BonusBoss Bonus Bosses]] of [[BonusDungeon the four Towers]] use two different attacks each. Both attacks are full-party, deal a large amount of damage, ''and'' inflict a nasty status effect.

* LowTierLetdown: Thorve and Randolph. The former is essentially the game's first "mage" character and is sort of a JackOfAllStats, but sadly a MasterOfNone. Once you get Lorenza, Thorve will most likely be benched unless Lorenza's out of the party. The latter similarly is basically a "Tank" character, which unfortunately doesn't have much of an effect in a turn-based RPG with no real draw-aggro mechanic.

You can only damage it with the Pierce spell (which Ethan has equipped when he joins) or by using non-elemental attacks items (like the grenades that can be stollen from goblins), needless dragging on the fight.

** The final showdown with the Omega Team, as not only do you have to fight all three of them at once, they've all gotten at least five times stronger then they ever were. (Yes, even [[BreatherBoss Earp]])
** Also the Riftgate, what with it being completely unbeatable without spamming a certain spell that costs a truckload of MP. In a game where MP restoration items are extremely rare. [[spoiler:"This won't be enough to kill you", Zawu says. Yeah right.]]
*** The Riftgate is much easier to kill once you realise it's also vulnerable to one-use attack items that deal 'normal' damage. That includes grenades that are easily obtainable by stealing from goblins. They deal almost the same amount of damage that the spell does, but are useable by anyone without any MP cost.
** And Yad al-Jauza, who relentlessly spams you with extremely nasty full-party status effects and HP/MP draining attacks; better hope you've got the right status protection.

** Augustus, who is behind most of the political intrigue in the first half of the game and plays nearly everyone like fiddles. '''Augustus:''' Well, that was a stupid move. But then, you never were very bright, were you?
** Castor. Deconstructed in that when [[spoiler:Castor loses at full power, he's so unable to cope with the fact that he's just ''not as good'' that he goes into a VillainousBreakdown.]]
** Despite only being a backstory character, [[spoiler:King Valkiris]] almost certainly qualifies, managing to dupe his entire army into fighting an hideously unjust war for him with undying loyalty, and [[WrittenByTheVictors ensuring that he went down in history as a good guy afterwards]].

** Esmeralda's GoMadFromTheRevelation at the knowledge that [[spoiler:all life originated as a HiveMind in the Cluster]] wouldn't be a problem on its own -- but Castor, a man, is able to bear the exact same knowledge without becoming an AxCrazy OmnicidalManiac. This potentially plays into the stereotypes of women being hysterical, overemotional idiots who can't handle reality and men being the calm, rational decision-makers.
** Helga being an incompetent SpoiledBrat while her brother Wilhelm is TheWisePrince carries similar unfortunate implications. This is exacerbated by [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen Helga being the only female ruler in the entire game]].
